Sayyiduna Abu al-Darda' (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whenever the sun rises, two angels are sent at its two sides. They both call out, and their voice is heard by all the inhabitants of the earth except two kinds of beings (that is, humans and jinn do not hear it): O people! Come to your Lord, for what is little and suffices is better than what is abundant and distracts. And whenever the sun sets, two angels are sent at its two sides. They both call out, and their voice is heard by all the inhabitants of the earth except two kinds of beings (that is, humans and jinn) who do not hear it. They say: O Allah! Grant the one who spends a replacement, and bring ruin upon the wealth of the one who withholds."
Ahmad recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
