عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِنَّ الدُّنْيَا حُلْوَةٌ خَضِرَةٌ ; فَمَنْ أَعْطَيْنَاهُ مِنْهَا شَيْئًا بِغَيْرِ طِيبِ نَفْسٍ كَانَ غَيْرَ مُبَارَكٍ لَهُ فِيهِ " .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .

Sayyidah Aishah al-Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Indeed, this world is sweet and green. So whoever we give anything of it to without being pleased (to give it), there will be no blessing for him in that thing."

So whoever acquires it (the narrator Yahya says: After that he mentioned some words, but I did not understand what they were) (after this the narration continues with these words:) will be blessed in it. And there are some people who covet the wealth of Allah and His Messenger; they will have the Fire on the Day of Resurrection."

Whoever acquires it with its right will be blessed in it. And there are many people who are eager for whatever their souls desire; on the Day of Resurrection those people will have nothing but the Fire."
