Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 4549

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When you have turned a beggar away three times, then there is no blame on you if you throw stones at him."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Dirar bin Surad, and he is da'if (weak). Abu Hatim said: He is saduq (truthful); his hadith may be written down, but it is not used as evidence.
