وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " إِنَّ الدُّنْيَا حُلْوَةٌ خَضِرَةٌ ، فَمَنْ أَخَذَهَا بِحَقِّهِ بُورِكَ لَهُ فِيهَا ، وَرُبَّ مُتَخَوِّضٍ فِيمَا اشْتَهَتْ نَفْسُهُ لَيْسَ لَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ إِلَّا النَّارُ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Indeed, this world is sweet and green. Whoever acquires it with its right will be blessed in it. And there are many people who are eager for whatever their souls desire; on the Day of Resurrection those people will have nothing but the Fire."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
