Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) entered the mosque, he would say: "O Allah, open for me the doors of Your mercy." (And when he) came out (of the mosque), he would say: "O Allah, open for me the doors of Your bounty."
Abu Ya'la recorded it; its chain contains Salih bin Musa, who is matruk al-hadith (abandoned in hadith).

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) taught Sayyiduna Imam al-Hasan bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that when he entered the mosque he should send blessings upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and say: "O Allah, forgive us our sins and open for us the doors of Your mercy"; and when he came out of the mosque he should send blessings upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and say: "O Allah, open for us the doors of Your bounty."
Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains Salim bin Abd al-A'la, who is matruk (abandoned).
