بَابٌ فِي الْفَأْرَةِ وَالنَّجَاسَةِ تَقَعُ فِي الطَّعَامِ أَوِ الشَّرَابِ .

عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ قَالَ : سَأَلْتُ جَابِرًا عَنِ الْفَأْرَةِ تَمُوتُ فِي الطَّعَامِ أَوِ الشَّرَابِ ، أَأَطْعَمُهُ ؟ قَالَ : لَا ، زَجَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - عَنْ ذَلِكَ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَفِيهِ ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Abu al-Zubayr narrates: I asked Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) about a mouse that dies in something to eat or drink: may I eat that thing? He replied: No! The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade that.
Imam Ahmad recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Ibn Lahi'ah, and he is da'if (weak).

وَعَنْ مَيْمُونَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - أَنَّهَا اسْتَفْتَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - عَنْ فَأْرَةٍ سَقَطَتْ فِي سَمْنٍ لَهُمْ جَامِدٍ ، فَقَالَ : " أَلْقُوهَا وَمَا حَوْلَهَا ، وَكُلُوا سَمْنَكُمْ " .
قُلْتُ : هُوَ فِي الصَّحِيحِ وَغَيْرِهِ خَلَا أَنَّهَا هِيَ السَّائِلَةُ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُصْعَبٍ الْقَرْقَسَانِيِّ ، وَثَّقَهُ أَحْمَدُ وَرَوَى عَنْهُ ، وَضَعَّفَهُ يَحْيَى بْنُ مَعِينٍ وَجَمَاعَةٌ .
قُلْتُ : هُوَ فِي الصَّحِيحِ وَغَيْرِهِ خَلَا أَنَّهَا هِيَ السَّائِلَةُ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُصْعَبٍ الْقَرْقَسَانِيِّ ، وَثَّقَهُ أَحْمَدُ وَرَوَى عَنْهُ ، وَضَعَّفَهُ يَحْيَى بْنُ مَعِينٍ وَجَمَاعَةٌ .
Sayyidah Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her), the honoured wife of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), narrates that she asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about the ruling on a mouse that had fallen into solidified ghee. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Throw away the mouse and the ghee around it, and eat your ghee!
(Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: This narration is recorded in the "Sahih" and other books, except that it is she herself who asked the question.
Imam Ahmad recorded it from Muhammad bin Mus'ab al-Qarqasani. Imam Ahmad declared this person "thiqah (trustworthy)" and narrated from him, while Yahya bin Ma'in and a group declared him "da'if (weak)".

وَعَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَتَى النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَقَالَ : الْفَأْرَةُ تَقَعُ فِي الْإِدَامِ ، فَقَالَ : " أَلْقِهَا عَنْكَ ، ثُمَّ اغْرِفْ بِكَفَّيْكَ ثَلَاثَ غُرُفَاتٍ ، ثُمَّ كُلْهُ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ مَسْلَمَةُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْخُشَنِيُّ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ جِدًّا .

Sayyiduna Abu al-Darda' (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and told him: A mouse has fallen into the curry. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Throw it away! Then take from it three times with both your hands, and eat it.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, Maslamah bin Ali al-Khushani, and he is extremely da'if (weak).

رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ : كَانَ بِإِفْرِيقِيَّةَ وَكَانَ ثِقَةً ، وَضَعَّفَهُ جَمَاعَةٌ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ : كَانَ بِإِفْرِيقِيَّةَ وَكَانَ ثِقَةً ، وَضَعَّفَهُ جَمَاعَةٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about a mouse that had fallen into ghee. He said: Take it out, and take out the ghee around it as well, and eat the remaining ghee, if it was solid. The people said: O Messenger of Allah! What if it were liquid? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Make use of it (that is, use it for some purpose other than eating!).
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Abd al-Jabbar bin Umar. Muhammad bin Sa'd says: He was in Africa (Ifriqiyah), and he was thiqah (trustworthy); a group declared him "da'if (weak)".

وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - سُئِلَ عَنْ عَجِينٍ وَقَعَ فِيهِ قَطَرَاتٌ مِنْ دَمٍ ، فَنَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - عَنْ أَكْلِهِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ سُوِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ، ضَعَّفَهُ جَمَاعَةٌ ، وَقَالَ دُحَيْمٌ : ثِقَةٌ ، وَكَانَ لَهُ أَحَادِيثُ يَغْلِطُ فِيهَا ، وَأَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ هُشَيْمٌ خَيْرًا .

Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about kneaded dough into which a few drops of blood fall, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade eating it.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Suwayd bin Abd al-Aziz, whom a group declared "da'if (weak)". Duhaym says: He is thiqah (trustworthy); hadiths are transmitted from him in which he makes mistakes. Hushaym spoke well of him.
