عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ : كُنْتُ رِدْفَ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - عَلَى حِمَارٍ يُقَالُ لَهُ : يَعْفُورٌ فَعَرِقْتُ ، فَأَمَرَنِي النَّبِيُّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - أَنْ أَغْتَسِلَ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ الضَّحَّاكُ ، وَقَدْ وَثَّقَهُ أَحْمَدُ وَيَحْيَى وَأَبُو زُرْعَةَ ، وَضَعَّفَهُ غَيْرُهُمْ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ الضَّحَّاكُ ، وَقَدْ وَثَّقَهُ أَحْمَدُ وَيَحْيَى وَأَبُو زُرْعَةَ ، وَضَعَّفَهُ غَيْرُهُمْ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: I was riding behind the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) on a donkey; the name of that donkey was "Ya'fur". I began to sweat, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered me to take a ritual bath (ghusl).
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, al-Dahhak, whom Imam Ahmad, Yahya and Abu Zur'ah declared "thiqah (trustworthy)", while others called him da'if (weak).
