عَنْ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَتْ : أَتَتْ سَلْمَى مَوْلَاةُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - امْرَأَةَ أَبِي رَافِعٍ مَوْلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - تَسْتَأْذِنُهُ عَلَى أَبِي رَافِعٍ قَدْ ضَرَبَهَا . قَالَتْ : فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - لِأَبِي رَافِعٍ : " مَالَكَ وَلَهَا يَا أَبَا رَافِعٍ ؟ " قَالَ : تُؤْذِينِي يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ . قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " بِمَ آذَيْتِهِ يَا سَلْمَى ؟ " قَالَتْ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، مَا آذَيْتُهُ بِشَيْءٍ ، وَلَكِنَّهُ أَحْدَثَ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي ، فَقُلْتُ لَهُ : يَا أَبَا رَافِعٍ ، إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَدْ أَمَرَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ إِذَا خَرَجَ مِنْ أَحَدِهِمُ الرِّيحُ أَنْ يَتَوَضَّأَ ، فَقَامَ يَضْرِبُنِي . فَجَعَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَضْحَكُ وَيَقُولُ : " يَا أَبَا رَافِعٍ ، إِنَّهَا لَمْ تَأْمُرْكَ إِلَّا بِخَيْرٍ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالْبَزَّارُ وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَرِجَالُ أَحْمَدَ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ ، إِلَّا أَنَّ فِيهِ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ إِسْحَاقَ ، وَقَدْ قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ . وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالْبَزَّارُ وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَرِجَالُ أَحْمَدَ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ ، إِلَّا أَنَّ فِيهِ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ إِسْحَاقَ ، وَقَدْ قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ . وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ .
Sayyidah Aishah Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her), the wife of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), says: Salma, the freedwoman of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), who was the wife of Abu Rafi', the freedman of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and told him that Abu Rafi' had beaten her. Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) says: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Abu Rafi': O Abu Rafi'! What is the matter between you and this woman? He replied: O Messenger of Allah! She hurts me. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Salma, why do you hurt him? The woman replied: O Messenger of Allah! I do not hurt him in any way. He broke his ablution while he was praying, so I said: O Abu Rafi'! The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) has commanded the Muslims that when wind passes from any of them, that person should perform ablution. At this he began to beat me. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) began to laugh and said: O Abu Rafi'! She has only commanded you to do good.
Ahmad, al-Bazzar and al-Tabarani (in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir) recorded it. The narrators of Ahmad are the narrators of the Sahih, except that its chain contains a narrator, Muhammad bin Ishaq, and he said: Hisham bin Urwah narrated to me. And Allah knows best.

وَعَنْ حُصَيْنٍ الْمُزَنِيِّ قَالَ : قَالَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ : أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ ، إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَقُولُ : " لَا يَقْطَعُ الصَّلَاةَ إِلَّا الْحَدَثُ " ، لَا أَسْتَحْيِيكُمْ مِمَّا لَا يَسْتَحْيِي مِنْهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - وَالْحَدَثُ أَنْ يَفْسُوَ أَوْ يَضْرِطَ .
رَوَاهُ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ فِي زِيَادَاتِهِ عَلَى أَبِيهِ ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَحُصَيْنٌ ، قَالَ ابْنُ مَعِينٍ : لَا أَعْرِفُهُ .
رَوَاهُ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ فِي زِيَادَاتِهِ عَلَى أَبِيهِ ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَحُصَيْنٌ ، قَالَ ابْنُ مَعِينٍ : لَا أَعْرِفُهُ .
Husayn al-Muzani says: Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) said on the pulpit: O people! I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Prayer is broken only by hadath (ritual impurity)." I will not show shyness about something about which the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not show shyness: hadath means that a man passes wind, either without a sound or with a sound.
Abdullah bin Ahmad recorded it in his Ziyadat (additions) to his father's (Musnad), and al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. About the narrator Husayn, Yahya bin Ma'in said: I do not know him.

وَعَنْ عَلِيٍّ - يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ - قَالَ : جَاءَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَقَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، إِنَّا نَكُونُ بِالْبَادِيَةِ وَتَكُونُ مِنْ أَحَدِنَا الرُّوَيْحَةُ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَسْتَحِي مِنَ الْحَقِّ ، إِذَا فَعَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ ذَلِكَ فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ ، وَلَا تَأْتُوا النِّسَاءَ فِي أَعْجَازِهِنَّ " ، وَقَالَ مَرَّةً : " فِي أَدْبَارِهِنَّ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ مِنْ حَدِيثِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ، وَهُوَ فِي السُّنَنِ مِنْ حَدِيثِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ طَلْقٍ الْحَنَفِيِّ ، وَقَدْ تَقَدَّمَ حَدِيثُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ قَبْلَهُ كَمَا تَرَاهُ . وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ . وَرِجَالُهُ مُوَثَّقُونَ .

Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) says: A Bedouin came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah! We live in the desert, and at times a slight wind passes from one of us. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Allah Almighty is not shy of the truth. When someone does this (that is, passes wind), he should perform ablution. And do not have intercourse with women in their rear.
Here the narrator on one occasion reported one word differently (though its meaning is the same). Ahmad recorded it as a hadith narrated from Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him), whereas in the Sunan this narration is from Sayyiduna Ali bin Talq al-Hanafi (may Allah be pleased with him). The hadith of Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) has already preceded this, as you have seen. And Allah knows best. The narrators of this report have been declared trustworthy.
