Sayyiduna Mu'ayqib (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Woe to (certain) heels from the Fire of Hell!"
Ahmad, and al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Ayyub bin Utbah, whom most declared da'if (weak).

Uqbah bin Muslim narrates: I heard Sayyiduna Abdullah bin al-Harith bin Jaz' al-Zubaydi (may Allah be pleased with him), who was one of the Companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), say: "Woe to (certain) heels and to the soles of the feet from the Fire of Hell!"
Ahmad recorded it in this way. Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir as follows: Sayyiduna Abdullah bin al-Harith bin Jaz' al-Zubaydi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Woe to (certain) heels and to the soles of the feet from the Fire of Hell!" The narrators of Ahmad and al-Tabarani are thiqat (trustworthy).

Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) and his brother narrate: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw some people performing ablution and said: Woe to (certain) heels from the Fire of Hell!
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir with various chains. In some of them it is mentioned that it is reported from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) and his brother; in some, that it is reported only from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him); in some, that it is reported only from the brother of Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him); and in some it is mentioned that he said: "The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw some people performing ablution on whose feet a spot the size of a dirham had been left (unwashed), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Woe to (certain) heels from the Fire of Hell!" All these chains revolve around the narrator Layth bin Abi Sulaym, and he suffered from confusion (ikhtilat).

Bakr bin Sawadah narrates: I heard Sayyiduna Abu al-Haytham (may Allah be pleased with him) say: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw me performing ablution and said: O Abu al-Haytham, mind the sole of the foot!
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, Ibn Lahi'ah, who is da'if (weak); and I do not think that Bakr bin Sawadah heard from Sayyiduna Abu al-Haytham (may Allah be pleased with him). And Allah knows best.

Sayyiduna Abu Bakr al-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I was sitting with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) when a man came who had performed ablution, and there was a spot on his foot that the water had not reached. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Go and complete your ablution! And the man did so.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat and al-Mu'jam al-Saghir; its chain contains a narrator, al-Wazi' bin Nafi', whose weakness is agreed upon.

Sayyiduna Abu Rawh al-Kala'i narrates: The Prophet of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) led us in a prayer and recited Surah al-Rum in it, and at one place he became confused (in the recitation). (After finishing the prayer) he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Satan causes confusion for us in the recitation because of some people who come to the prayer without (properly completed) ablution. When you come to the prayer, perform ablution well.
Ahmad recorded it from Sayyiduna Abu Rawh (may Allah be pleased with him), and Imam al-Nasa'i (may Allah have mercy on him) recorded it from Abu Rawh, from a man. The narrators of Ahmad are the narrators of the Sahih.

Abd al-Malik bin Umayr narrates: I heard Sayyiduna Shabib Abu Rawh (may Allah be pleased with him), who was from Dhu al-Kala', relate that he was praying behind the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recited Surah al-Rum and hesitated in a verse. When he finished the prayer, he said: We become confused in the Qur'an because some people among you pray with us who do not perform ablution well. Whoever attends the prayer with us should perform ablution well.
Ahmad recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
