بَابٌ فِيمَنْ لَمْ يُحْسِنِ الْوُضُوءَ .
One who does not perform ablution well

وَعَنْ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقِ قَالَ : كُنْتُ جَالِسًا عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَجَاءَ رَجُلٌ قَدْ تَوَضَّأَ وَفِي قَدَمِهِ مَوْضِعٌ لَمْ يُصِبْهُ الْمَاءُ ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " اذْهَبْ فَأَتِمَّ وُضُوءَكَ " فَفَعَلَ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ وَالصَّغِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ الْوَازِعُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ ، وَهُوَ مَجْمَعٌ عَلَى ضَعْفِهِ .

Sayyiduna Abu Bakr al-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I was sitting with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) when a man came who had performed ablution, and there was a spot on his foot that the water had not reached. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Go and complete your ablution! And the man did so.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat and al-Mu'jam al-Saghir; its chain contains a narrator, al-Wazi' bin Nafi', whose weakness is agreed upon.
