Sayyiduna Wathilah bin al-Asqa' (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Every building will be a burden upon the one who built it, except for one that is like this." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said this while pointing with his palm. "And on the Day of Resurrection all knowledge will be a burden upon its possessor, except for the one who acts upon it."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, Hani' bin al-Mutawakkil; Ibn Hibban says: It is not permissible to use him as evidence under any circumstances.

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "O people! Acquire knowledge, and whoever acquires knowledge should also act upon it."
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its narrators have been declared trustworthy, except that the narrator Abu Ubaydah did not hear from his father (Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him)).
