Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever sends blessings upon me in writing, the angels continue to seek forgiveness for him as long as my name remains in that writing."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains Bishr bin Ubayd al-Darisi, whom al-Azdi and others declared a liar.

Sayyiduna Imam Husayn bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever I am mentioned in front of and then he does not send blessings upon me, he has been made to stray from the path to Paradise."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains Bashir bin Muhammad al-Kindi, or perhaps his name is Bishr. If he is Bashir, then Abdullah bin al-Mubarak, Yahya bin Ma'in and Imam al-Daraqutni (may Allah have mercy on him) declared him da'if (weak); and if he is Bishr, then I have not seen anyone mention him. (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: The hadiths about sending blessings upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) will come later, in the chapter on supplications.
