بَابُ كِتَابَةِ الصَّلَاةِ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - لِمَنْ ذَكَرَهُ أَوْ ذُكِرَ عِنْدَهُ .

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ صَلَّى عَلَيَّ فِي كِتَابٍ لَمْ تَزَلْ الْمَلَائِكَةُ تَسْتَغْفِرُ لَهُ مَا دَامَ اسْمِي فِي ذَلِكَ الْكِتَابِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ بِشْرُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الدَّارِسِيُّ ، كَذَّبَهُ الْأَزْدِيُّ وَغَيْرُهُ .

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever sends blessings upon me in writing, the angels continue to seek forgiveness for him as long as my name remains in that writing."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains Bishr bin Ubayd al-Darisi, whom al-Azdi and others declared a liar.
