Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The sanctities established by Allah Almighty are three. Whoever safeguards them, Allah Almighty safeguards for him (the affairs of) his religion and his world; and whoever does not safeguard them, Allah Almighty does not safeguard anything for him: the sanctity of Islam, my sanctity, and the sanctity of my kindred."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Ibrahim bin Hammad, who is da'if (weak).
(Allamah al-Haythami says:) I have not seen anyone who declared him trustworthy.

Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever has three things in him will find the sweetness of faith: that Allah and His Messenger are more beloved to him than everything other than the two of them; that he loves a servant (of Allah) and loves him only for the sake of Allah Almighty; and that being thrown into the Fire is more preferable to him than returning to disbelief after Allah Almighty has saved him from disbelief."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Faddal bin Jubayr, whom it is not permissible to use as evidence.
