وَعَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عَدِيٍّ قَالَ : قَدِمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - الْمَدِينَةَ يَوْمَ الِاثْنَيْنِ لِاثْنَتَيْ عَشْرَةَ لَيْلَةً خَلَتْ مِنْ رَبِيعٍ الْأَوَّلِ فَأَقَامَ بِالْمَدِينَةِ عَشْرَ سِنِينَ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Asim bin Adi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) arrived in Madinah on Monday, the 12th of Rabi' al-Awwal, and he stayed in Madinah for ten years.
