Sayyiduna Abu Dharr al-Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that they were with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in the Battle of Tabuk, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O people! Of those who are alive today, not one of them will reach the passing of one hundred years such that Allah Almighty would have any regard for him in that respect."
(Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: Al-Bazzar recorded this narration within a longer narration than this. Its chain contains a narrator, Ali bin Zayd, and he is da'if (weak); he narrated it from Abdullah bin Qudamah bin Sakhr, and I do not know who he is.
