وَعَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " مَنْ مَاتَ مُرَابِطًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أُجْرِيَ عَلَيْهِ عَمَلُ الصَّائِمِ وَأُجْرِيَ عَلَيْهِ رِزْقُهُ وَأَمِنَ مِنَ الْفَتَّانِ وَيَبْعَثُهُ اللَّهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ آمِنًا مِنَ الْفَزَعِ الْأَكْبَرِ " .
قُلْتُ : حَدِيثُ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَوَاهُ ابْنُ مَاجَهْ .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ وَفِيهِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ وَثَّقَهُ عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ فَقَالَ : ثِقَةٌ مَأْمُونٌ ، وَضَعَّفَهُ غَيْرُهُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
قُلْتُ : حَدِيثُ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَوَاهُ ابْنُ مَاجَهْ .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ وَفِيهِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ وَثَّقَهُ عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ فَقَالَ : ثِقَةٌ مَأْمُونٌ ، وَضَعَّفَهُ غَيْرُهُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Uthman bin Affan (may Allah be pleased with him) and Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) report that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever dies while standing guard in the path of Allah, the deeds of a fasting person continue (to be recorded) for him, his provision continues for him, he is kept safe from the trial (of the grave), and when Allah Almighty raises him on the Day of Resurrection he will be safe from the Greatest Terror (i.e., the horror of the Day of Resurrection)." (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: The hadith of Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) was recorded by Ibn Majah.
Al-Bazzar recorded it; its chain contains Abdullah bin Salih, whom Abd al-Malik bin Shu'ayb declared thiqah (trustworthy), saying: He is thiqah and ma'mun (trustworthy and reliable). Others declared him da'if (weak). The rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
