Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 9353

Sayyiduna Kathir bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) says: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to gather us: there would be me, Abdullah, Ubaydullah and Qutham. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would spread out both his hands like this, and then he would say: "Whoever reaches me first will get such and such."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, al-Sabbah bin Yahya, who is matruk (abandoned).
