Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 9351

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Competition (for a prize) is only in camel (racing), horse (racing) or archery (marksmanship)."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Abdullah bin Harun al-Qarawi, who is da'if (weak) on account of this hadith and other narrations.
