وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ : اسْتَقَامَ نَسَبُ النَّاسِ إِلَى مَعَدِّ بْنِ عَدْنَانَ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ ابْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ، وَهُوَ مُدَلِّسٌ .

Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: "People's lineage is sound up to Ma'add bin Adnan."
Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains the narrator Ibn Ishaq, and he is a mudallis (one who conceals defects in the chain).
