وَعَنْ سَوَادَةَ بْنِ رَبِيعٍ الْجَرْمِيِّ قَالَ : أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَمَرَ لِي بَذَوْدٍ وَقَالَ " عَلَيْكَ بِالْخَيْلِ فَإِنَّ الْخَيْلَ مَعْقُودٌ فِي نَوَاصِيهَا الْخَيْرُ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ "
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ الْجَرْمِيِّ عَنْ سَوَادَةَ، وَسُلَيْمَانُ لَمْ أَعْرِفْهُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ الْجَرْمِيِّ عَنْ سَوَادَةَ، وَسُلَيْمَانُ لَمْ أَعْرِفْهُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Sawadah bin Rabi' al-Jarmi (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and he ordered that I be given camels, and then he said: "Keep horses, for goodness has been tied to the forelocks of horses until the Day of Resurrection."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it through Sulayman al-Jarmi from Sayyiduna Sawadah (may Allah be pleased with him). I do not know the narrator named Sulayman; the remaining narrators of this report are thiqat (trustworthy).
