وَعَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " الْخَيْلُ مَعْقُودٌ بِنَوَاصِيهَا الْخَيْرُ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ عَطِيَّةُ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Goodness has been tied to the forelocks of horses until the Day of Resurrection."
Imam Ahmad and Imam al-Bazzar recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Atiyyah, who is da'if (weak).
