عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " إِنَّ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ كَتَبُوا كِتَابًا فَاتَّبَعُوهُ ، وَتَرَكُوا التَّوْرَاةَ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .

Sayyiduna Abu Musa al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The Children of Israel wrote a book, then began to follow it, and they abandoned the Torah."
Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
