Majma al-Zawaid 9172 — What the ruler is entitled to from the public

Amr bin Abi Aqrab narrates: I heard Sayyiduna Attab bin Usayd (may Allah be pleased with him) saying, while he was leaning his back against the House of Allah: "By Allah! From this office, over which the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) appointed me, I have received only two garments, which I have given to my freed slave Kaysan to wear."
Al-Tabarani recorded it, and its chain contains a group of narrators whom I do not know.
