بَابُ لُزُومِ الْجَمَاعَةِ وَطَاعَةُ الْأَئِمَّةِ وَالنَّهْيِ عَنْ قِتَالِهِمْ .

وَعَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ الْجُعْفِيِّ أَنَّهُ قَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ كَانَ عَلَيْنَا أُمَرَاءُ مَنْ بَعْدِكَ يَأْخُذُونَا بِالْحَقِّ الَّذِي عَلَيْنَا وَيَمْنَعُونَا الْحَقَّ الَّذِي ( جَعَلَهُ اللَّهُ ) لَنَا نُقَاتِلُهُمْ وَنَعْصِيهِمْ ؟ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " عَلَيْهِمْ مَا حُمِّلُوا وَعَلَيْكُمْ مَا حُمِّلْتُمْ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ عُبَيْدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدَةَ وَلَمْ أَعْرِفْهُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .

It is reported about Sayyiduna Yazid bin Salamah al-Ju'fi (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: "O Messenger of Allah, what is your view: if after you rulers are set over us who take from us the right that is due from us, but withhold from us the right that Allah Almighty has made ours, shall we fight those rulers and disobey them?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The burden of what they have done will be upon them, and the responsibility for what you have done will be upon you."
Al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains Ubayd bin Ubaydah, and I do not know him. The remaining narrators of this report are thiqat (trustworthy).
