بَابُ لُزُومِ الْجَمَاعَةِ وَطَاعَةُ الْأَئِمَّةِ وَالنَّهْيِ عَنْ قِتَالِهِمْ .

وَعَنْ رَجُلٍ قَالَ : انْتَهَيْتُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - وَهُوَ يَقُولُ : " أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ عَلَيْكُمْ بِالْجَمَاعَةِ وَإِيَّاكُمْ وَالْفُرْقَةَ " ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَفِيهِ زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ سَلَّامٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ وَلَمْ أَعْرِفْهُمَا .

A man narrates: I came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) while he was saying: "O people, you must hold to the community (jama'ah), and you must beware of division." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said this three times.
Ahmad recorded it. Its chain mentions that Zakariyya bin Sallam narrated it from his father, and I do not know either of them.
