بَابُ الْخِلَافَةِ فِي قُرَيْشٍ وَالنَّاسُ تَبَعٌ لَهُمْ .

وَعَنْ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ عَبْدٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " الْخِلَافَةُ فِي قُرَيْشٍ " فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ .
وَقَدْ تَقَدَّمَ فِي أَوَّلِ كِتَابِ الْأَحْكَامِ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ وَرِجَالُ أَحْمَدَ ثِقَاتٌ . وَقَدْ تَقَدَّمَ حَدِيثُ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .
وَقَدْ تَقَدَّمَ فِي أَوَّلِ كِتَابِ الْأَحْكَامِ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ وَرِجَالُ أَحْمَدَ ثِقَاتٌ . وَقَدْ تَقَدَّمَ حَدِيثُ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Utbah bin Abd (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The caliphate will be in Quraysh." After this the narrator mentioned the full hadith, which has already passed earlier at the beginning of the Book of Rulings (Kitab al-Ahkam).
Ahmad and al-Tabarani recorded it. The narrators of Ahmad are thiqat (trustworthy). The hadith reported from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) has already passed, and its narrators are also thiqat (trustworthy).
