وَعَنْ سَيَّارِ بْنِ سَلَامَةَ أَبِي الْمِنْهَالِ قَالَ : دَخَلْتُ مَعَ أَبِي عَلَى أَبِي بَرْزَةَ وَإِنَّ فِي أُذُنِي لَقُرْطَيْنِ وَأَنَا غُلَامٌ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " الْأُمَرَاءُ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ " ثَلَاثًا " مَا فَعَلُوا ثَلَاثًا : مَا حَكَمُوا فَعَدَلُوا ، وَاسْتُرْحِمُوا فَرَحِمُوا ، وَعَاهَدُوا فَوَفَوْا ، فَمَنْ لَمْ يَفْعَلْ ذَلِكَ مِنْهُمْ فَعَلَيْهِ لَعْنَةُ اللَّهِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَأَبُو يَعْلَى أَتَمُّ مِنْهُ وَفِيهِ قِصَّةٌ ، وَالْبَزَّارُ وَرِجَالُ أَحْمَدَ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ ، خَلَا سُكَيْنَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَأَبُو يَعْلَى أَتَمُّ مِنْهُ وَفِيهِ قِصَّةٌ ، وَالْبَزَّارُ وَرِجَالُ أَحْمَدَ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ ، خَلَا سُكَيْنَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ .
Sayyar bin Salamah Abu al-Minhal said: I went with my father to Sayyiduna Abu Barzah (may Allah be pleased with him). I had two earrings in my ear, and I was a boy. He narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The rulers will be from Quraysh." He said this three times. (Then he said:) "As long as they do three things: they act with justice when they judge; when mercy is sought from them, they show mercy; and when they make a covenant, they fulfil it. Whoever among them does not do so, upon him will be the curse of Allah Almighty, the angels and all mankind."
Ahmad recorded it. Abu Ya'la recorded it as a more complete narration in which the whole incident is mentioned, and al-Bazzar also recorded it. The narrators of Ahmad are the narrators of the Sahih, except for Sukayn bin Abd al-Aziz, and he is thiqah (trustworthy).
