عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " إِنِّي أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ ثَلَاثًا ، وَهُنَّ كَائِنَاتٌ : زَلَّةُ عَالِمٍ ، وَجِدَالُ مُنَافِقٍ بِالْقُرْآنِ ، وَدُنْيَا تَفْتَحُ عَلَيْكُمْ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الثَّلَاثَةِ ، وَفِيهِ عَبْدُ الْحَكِيمِ بْنِ مَنْصُورٍ ، وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكُ الْحَدِيثِ .

Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I fear three things for you, and they will certainly come to pass: the slip of a scholar, the hypocrite's disputing on the basis of the Qur'an, and the world being opened up for you."
Tabarani recorded it in all three (of his Mu'jams); its chain contains Abd al-Hakim bin Mansur, who is matruk al-hadith (abandoned in hadith).
