Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 8707

Sayyidah Fatimah bint Qays (may Allah be pleased with her) says: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade us from wearing gold and from stringing it. So a woman threw off her gold bracelets, and they lay in the mosque for several days without anyone taking them.
Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains the narrator Hurayth bin Abi Matar, who is matruk (abandoned).
