Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 8708

Sayyidah Zaynab bint Nubayt bin Jabir (may Allah be pleased with her), the wife of Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him), says: Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) entrusted my mother and my maternal aunt in his will to the care of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Jewellery of gold and pearls, called "ri'ath" (earrings), came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave those women some of the ri'ath to wear.
Tabarani recorded it with several chains. The narrators of one of them are the narrators of the Sahih, except Muhammad bin Umarah al-Hazmi, who is thiqah (trustworthy), if Sayyidah Zaynab (may Allah be pleased with her) is a Companion.
