وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ : دَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - وَعَلَيَّ سِوَارَانِ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ فَقَالَ : " أَلَا أَدُلُّكِ عَلَى مَا هُوَ خَيْرٌ لَكَ مِنْ هَذَا وَأَحْسَنُ ؟ " قُلْتُ : بَلَى . قَالَ : " تَجْعَلِينَهُ وَرِقًا ثُمَّ تُخَلِّقِينَهَا فَيَكُونُ كَأَنَّهُ ذَهَبٌ " .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ صَالِحُ بْنُ أَبِي الْأَخْضَرِ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ وَقَدْ وُثِّقَ .

Sayyidah Aishah Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) says: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came home while I was wearing two gold bracelets. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Shall I not guide you to something that is better for you than this and finer?" I said: "Yes, indeed!" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Have bracelets made of silver and then rub khaluq (a saffron perfume) on them, and they will be like gold."
Al-Bazzar recorded it; its chain contains the narrator Salih bin Abi al-Akhdar, who is da'if (weak), though he has also been declared trustworthy.
