Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 8699

Sayyiduna Ubadah bin al-Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) says: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about women and their adornment (that is, he was asked about their wearing jewellery), and he said: "It is one or two brandings, whatever it may be (or however much it may be)."
Tabarani recorded it. The narrator Ishaq did not reach the time of Sayyiduna Ubadah (may Allah be pleased with him). The rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
