وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - رَخَّصَ فِي الثَّوْبِ الْمَصْبُوغِ مَا لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ نَفْضٌ وَلَا رَدْعٌ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَفِيهِ الْحَجَّاجُ بْنُ أَرْطَاةَ ، وَهُوَ مُدَلِّسٌ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave permission for dyed clothing, as long as it has no fragrance and no (feminine) colouring.
Ahmad recorded it. Its chain contains al-Hajjaj bin Artah, who is a mudallis (one who practises tadlis).
