عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ : جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَقَالَ : أَيَصْبِغُ رَبُّكَ ؟ فَقَالَ : " نَعَمْ صِبَاغًا لَا يَنْفَضُّ أَحْمَرَ وَأَصْفَرَ وَأَبْيَضَ " .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ عَطَاءُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ ، وَقَدِ اخْتَلَطَ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: A man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and submitted: Does your Lord also dye (give colour)? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Yes! A dye that does not fade: red, yellow and white.
Al-Bazzar recorded it. Its chain contains Ata' bin al-Sa'ib, who had become confused (ikhtalat) in his memory.
