Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 8312

Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If there is a cure in anything, then it is in the cupping blade, or in drinking honey, or in cauterising the place of pain; and I dislike cauterisation, I do not like it."
Ahmad and Abu Ya'la recorded it, and al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. The narrators of this report are the narrators of the Sahih, except Abdullah bin al-Walid bin Qays, and he is thiqah (trustworthy).
