Zuhayr relates: A woman of my family narrated to me from Mulaykah bint Amr, who was of the descendants of Zayd Allah bin Sa'd; she relates: I suffered from pain in my throat. I went to Mulaykah, and she set out cow's ghee for that woman and stated this: the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Its milk is a cure, its ghee is a remedy, and its meat is a disease." I say: her saying "I went to her" means that the woman of the narrator's family went to the woman named Mulaykah.
Al-Tabarani recorded it. That woman's name is not given; the remaining narrators of this report are thiqat (trustworthy). Before this, the hadith narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Musa al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) has already passed at the beginning of the book, in the chapter on using medicine.
