Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 8283

Al-Harith bin Sa'd reports from his father: I said: O Messenger of Allah! These incantations (ruqyah) that are recited and the medicines that are used, do they turn back anything of the decree of Allah Almighty? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: They too are the decree ordained by Allah Almighty.
Al-Tabarani recorded it. I do not know the narrator al-Harith. The remaining narrators of this report are the narrators of the Sahih, except Abu Khuzamah.
