Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 8255

Sayyiduna Bahz (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to use the tooth-stick (miswak) widthwise, drink by sipping, and take three breaths, and he would say: "This is more pleasant, more beneficial and more wholesome."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded this narration. Its chain contains Thubayt bin Kathir, and he is da'if (weak).
