Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 825

Sayyiduna Abu Juhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was seated, and in front of him were some people doing things that displeased him: their talk and their commotion (displeased him). It was said: O Messenger of Allah, why do you not forbid them? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If I were to forbid them from going to al-Hajun, one of them would go there, even if he had no business there.
Al-Tabarani recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
