Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 8192

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Whoever drinks wine and puts it into his stomach, his prayer will not be accepted for seven days; if he dies during that time, he will die as a disbeliever. And if his intellect becomes heedless of anything of the obligatory duties, his prayer will not be accepted for forty days; and if he dies during that time, he will die as a disbeliever." (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: Al-Nasa'i (may Allah have mercy on him) has recorded some hadiths from this Companion (on this subject) other than this narration.
Al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Yazid bin Abi Ziyad, and he is da'if (weak).
