Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Every girl (received as a slave-woman from the spoils of war) who is pregnant is unlawful for her owner until she gives birth to what is in her womb; every donkey on which loads are carried, its meat is unlawful; and garlic is unlawful." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) declared garlic lawful, but he ordered whoever eats it "not to come to the mosque until its smell, which causes harm, has gone; whoever has eaten it should not come near the mosque."
Al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains Yahya bin Abdullah al-Babalti, who is da'if (weak).
