Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 8046

Abd al-Rahman bin A'idh narrates: Sayyiduna Abu al-Darda' (may Allah be pleased with him) was asked about leeks and onions, and he said: "After the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade it, I will not eat onions."
Al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains Sadaqah bin Abdullah al-Samin, whom Duhaym and Abu Hatim declared thiqah (trustworthy), while the majority declared him da'if (weak). The rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
