وَعَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " خَيْرُ تَمْرَاتِكُمُ الْبَرْنِيُّ يُذْهِبُ الدَّاءَ وَلَا دَاءَ فِيهِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ سَعِيدُ بْنُ سُوَيْدٍ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The best of your dates is the 'Barni,' which removes disease and has no disease in it."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains a narrator, Sa'id bin Suwayd, and he is da'if (weak).
