وَعَنِ الْهِرْمَاسِ قَالَ : أَهْدَى إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - رَجُلٌ مِنْ قَوْمِي تَمْرًا فَقَالَ : " أَيُّ تَمْرٍ هَذَا ؟ " فَقَالَ : الْجُذَامَى فَقَالَ : " اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ فِي الْجُذَامَى " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ عُثْمَانُ بْنُ فَايِدٍ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna al-Hirmas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A man from my people presented dates as a gift to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "What kind of dates are these?" He said: "They are Judhami." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Allah! Place blessing in the Judhami."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Uthman bin Fa'id, and he is da'if (weak).
