Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 7942

Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When one of you eats something, let him lick his three fingers, for he does not know in which of them the blessing lies."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
Muslim and Abu Dawud recorded it as an action of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "When he ate food, he would lick his three fingers."
