وَعَنْ جَرْهَدٍ أَنَّهُ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - وَبَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ طَعَامٌ فَأَدْنَى جَرْهَدٌ يَدَهُ الشِّمَالَ لِيَأْكُلَ وَكَانَتِ الْيُمْنَى مُصَابَةً [ فَقَالَ : " كُلْ بِالْيَمِينِ " فَقَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّهَا مُصَابَةٌ ] فَنَفَثَ عَلَيْهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَمَا شَكَا حَتَّى مَاتَ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ مِنْ طَرِيقِ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ فَرْوَةَ عَنْ بَعْضِ ابْنَيْ جَرْهَدٍ ، وَكِلَاهُمَا لَمْ أَعْرِفْهُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ مِنْ طَرِيقِ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ فَرْوَةَ عَنْ بَعْضِ ابْنَيْ جَرْهَدٍ ، وَكِلَاهُمَا لَمْ أَعْرِفْهُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Jarhad (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that he came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) while there was food in front of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Sayyiduna Jarhad (may Allah be pleased with him) put forward his left hand to eat. He says: My right hand was injured. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Eat with the right hand." He said: "It is injured." So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) blew (with a little of his saliva) on it, and after that Sayyiduna Jarhad (may Allah be pleased with him) never had any pain in that hand until he passed away.
Al-Tabarani recorded it by way of Sufyan bin Farwah from one of the two sons of Sayyiduna Jarhad (may Allah be pleased with him), and I do not know either of them. The remaining narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
