Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw Subay'ah al-Aslamiyyah eating with her left hand and said: "What is the matter with her? She is eating with her left hand; I find her to be a corrupt woman." She said: "O Prophet of Allah! There is an ulcer on my hand." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Even if it be the death of a cow." The narrator says: Later, the plague seized that woman and caused her death. In one narration the words are: "And where is the death of a cow?"
Al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains Dukhayn al-Hajari, and a group of narrators whom I do not know. If the narrator Dukhayn is Abu al-Ghusn, then he is da'if (weak).
