Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 7701

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A woman came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: "O Messenger of Allah! This son of mine: my womb was a place of protection for him, my lap was a place of rest for him, and my breast was a source of drink for him, and now his father thinks that he will take him away from me." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You have more right to him as long as you do not marry (again)."
Ahmad recorded it, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
