وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَوْ أَنَّ النُّطْفَةَ الَّتِي أَخَذَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهَا الْمِيثَاقَ أُلْقِيَتْ عَلَى صَخْرَةٍ لَخَلَقَ اللَّهُ مِنْهَا إِنْسَانًا " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ مَنْ لَمْ أَعْرِفْهُ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "By the One in whose Hand is my soul, if the sperm-drop from which Allah Almighty has taken the covenant were cast onto a rock, Allah Almighty would create a human being even from it."
